ABOUT BROMED

BROMED is my independent artist project. I am still a beginner in music, but I have a strong passion for writing, ideas and creating my own musical universe. I write my own lyrics in French, Arabic and English, and I use music as a way to express different emotions, stories and experiences.

I am not a singer, producer or mixing engineer at this stage. I am learning step by step and experimenting with different ways to turn my ideas into music.

BROMED is more than just a name for me. I also play with the letters B.R.O.M.E.D as part of the identity of the project.

The idea behind BROMED is connected to having something to express and always having something to give through music, a part of my personality, my emotions and my imagination.

I started exploring music seriously through writing and experimenting with my own ideas. I didn't come from a professional music background, so I am learning as I go.

At first, I mainly focused on lyrics and concepts. Then I started using music production tools to turn those ideas into demos and complete songs. I am still at the beginning of my journey, and I am constantly trying to discover something new.

My music represents experimentation, emotions and the desire to create something that feels like me.

I don't want to stay in one mood or one genre. Sometimes I want to make something energetic and catchy, sometimes more emotional, and sometimes something completely different.

For me, music is also about learning. Every song is an opportunity to try a new idea and improve.

I am influenced by different sides of modern urban music: French rap, melodic rap, Afro influenced sounds, pop, R&B, Maghreb and Tunisian music, as well as Caribbean and Latin influences.

I like mixing different elements when they make sense together. I am still experimenting with my sound, so I don't want to limit BROMED to one genre.

I listen to many different artists, including Soolking, Naza, Alonzo, SDM, Jul, Gims, Keblack and artists from the Tunisian and North African scene.

What influences me is not necessarily one specific sound. I pay attention to their energy, melodies, writing, hooks, production choices and the way they create an identity around their music.

My goal is not to copy them. I want to take inspiration from different things and eventually build something that feels original to BROMED.

The story is quite simple: I had ideas, lyrics and emotions that I wanted to turn into music, even though I didn't have all the technical skills to do it myself.

That's where AI tools became part of my creative process. I use tools such as Suno to help transform my ideas into musical demos. Some of my current songs can therefore include AI generated vocals and/or production.

I want to be completely transparent about that. The lyrics, concepts, emotions and artistic direction come from me, but I am not pretending to be a professional singer, producer or mixing engineer.

For now, I see these tools as a way to experiment, learn and communicate my ideas. My ambition is to continue developing my skills and eventually work with real singers, producers, musicians and other artists.
